1) Load the scene Abandoned House that comes with Iclone (so it should work, as this is an Iclone product) 2) Start the export plugin to Indigo 3) select the video size to be HD (1920x1080) 4) select all frames to be exported (3180 frames) 5) make sure you have enough free HD space (I have 900GB free) 6) press export.
Depending on what type of computer you have the plugin and Iclone will crash after 50-100 frames, at 1-2% of render.
This has been raised in issue 465 and many others and also in cases already. I hoped this would be fixed with 6.5 release but it is not.
Try disabling all quality shader settings in iClone, tessellation set to 0 but re-enabled in Indigo if you're using it. Set Virtual Memory 40GB or higher on the hard drive you're exporting your project to (for me it helped with large projects of over 3 Million polygons) Only Render from iClone to Indigo with still shots not frames -your computer needs all the processing power it can get and when iClone is loaded it takes a lot away so I suggest you export your Indigo frame sequence. As an example that this method works I'll show you my test project. The landscape here is tessellated.

The issue has the same result on a win10 so with DirectX 12 only thing that has changed is that IClone crashes faster. Do the question remains. What is so important that it needs ram storage even when working files are written to disk.

I agree with this issue and I have given up trying to render any kind of animation from iClone to Indigo. Of course, when an update presents itself, I always try again only to be disappointed. :(
