Iclone 8 needs better landscaping.
Iclone 8 is a great program, but you need to add landscaping creation and design right in iclone 8, as well final output video should be the quality of unreal engine or near it. both should be under the hood in the Iclone program instead of a paid addon to bridge the two programs. It would be also great if Character creator could take a AI generated picture of a custom Character and create the Character in 3d and add the clothing from the picture to the 3d model. My issue is you set everything up in Iclone to produce a video clip, then you have to bridge everything to unreal engine, then spend more time fine tuning it in unreal engine and video it out in unreal engine. Why do that might as well just use the character creator and export the custom characters right to unreal engine and build your landscape and scean in unreal engine. I like Iclone because it take a more simplistic approach in design and set up to video output. Unreal engine its so complicated that you need a engineering degree and 2 year course just to use it right. I'm a hobbyist not a movie or game company that would require the unreal engine, so Iclone was a great way for non experts to do video clips. but Iclone is lacking in landscaping creation and design and final video out put quality. That's why I had great hopes in AI Studio but once again you dropped the ball, Made it to restrictive and made it to expensive in clip costs. I hope you address a lot of the issues in the next version Iclone 9. including adding import .dae files, and .ldraw files for lego style video clips, with lego face animation. support for creations made in Mecabricks and studio 2.0 lego building programs.

I've felt like this too. The amount of money I've spent with this company over the past three years is substantial, yet it is still very difficult to work independently within its software without continually having to buy more and more things.

AI Studio annoyed me in particular because it feels like a laundromat, payphone, or even a slot machine. After spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on the wider ecosystem, you still have to pay for every AI rendering attempt—even when the result may not be usable.

I'm happy that RTX Render is in development, but Reallusion appears to be prioritizing a Fortnite- or EA-style ecosystem built around in-program purchases and add-ons. After all that investment, I still cannot render inside iClone at anything close to the quality available through Blender, which is free. It would be more encouraging to see the company focus on core improvements such as better body physics, more realistic skin wrapping, and other foundational features that improve the quality of the software itself rather than continually expanding paid add-ons.
